Jade absolutely loves dancing, & in 19 years has taught many forms of movement, including ballet, Zumba, and aerial arts. A classically trained ballerina growing up, she danced for many years & taught for 10 years with Blue Springs Ballet Company. She danced professionally with Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre for several years, & toured in the US & Europe with the company (fun fact—Jade turned 30 while dancing in England!). 

Jade began her aerial journey at Voler Aerial Academy in 2019. She enjoys bringing her dancing skills to aerial arts, performing with the professional troupe Voler—Thieves of Flight. Jade helps mentor future generations of circus performers; she teaches the youth aerial & beginning aerial hoop classes at Voler. Jade recently choreographed and developed an aerial & dance production for her young Voler students, who were chosen to perform at the Kauffman Future Stages Festival in June 2024. 

Jade is gearing up for her third season as a professional dancer with City in Motion Dance Theater, where she finds delight in choreographing & performing. Additionally, she has choreographed & worked with the City Youth Theater dancers for their past two seasons. 

Jade has 4 children & 2 grandchildren, & she loves spending time with them. She is an avid paddle boarder, & you can often find her on the water at Smithville Lake. Jade is very excited to teach ballet classes at MelRoe’s!
